Orange Glow 02:13
I love that type of nightlife: hope to get some shut-eye I clutch my pillow closer to the train tracks. The view is so much nicer with the empty streets and the orange glow I can hardly tell that the hands are moving slower. Watch the hours go. Waiting 'til my slumber reaches record-breaking lows. My nine o' clock has no mercy Had to wish for time and space to think about things gracefully (A) recurring scene to those like me who often lose sleep easily (Even) if it's written on my face, I won't bother. It leaves a bitter taste of another sleepless night of overthinking my life over. Greener grass and could've, should've, would've (been nice). Could've, should've beens Watch the hours go. Waiting 'til my slumber reaches record-breaking lows. My nine o' clock shows no mercy

To cast about for hideaways Seeking what you’re worth Duck for cover, hope for better days We’d love death away Remember Everything was within our grasp I swear we’re going home As the path unwinds I feel Our feet are worn, our hopes are up These dripping faces let them know Our feet are worn out Every failure, every daft move we made We were fools playing fools Bare hands catching blades Unfriendly atmosphere, strength underused We lay siege to a new bottle of Gin Vacuity of the soul Aching

Isolated by my own will My happiness, my dreams, fulfilled All these things so hard to say My blister won’t go away My thoughts through airways To thank you with a blaze These miles apart Won’t take their toll on me Because as you say We’ll always play the part At the drop of the hat You’d support the bumptious brat The one that made a jettison The one you call your son I know everything you do to no small extent Relies upon mixed feelings that you blend
4.
When exactly did you see fit to put our interests aside? Acting like headstrong kids arguing about Who should get the largest piece of cake In a game of give and take We don’t want you to fight the good fight We don’t need another white knight We don’t want you to fight the good fight Just remember what’s at stake Before everything breaks All of this dog and pony show for us is to no avail Who’s to say, who’s going the wrong way?
